Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School took place from July 23-27.
Church Garage Sale
The OMC garage sale took place on June 7-8, 2007. Church members donated items and the proceeds went to the Women's Ministry of the church.
Mother-Daughter Banquet
This year's mother-daughter banquet was held on May 6, 2007. The speaker was Sam Reichenbach, a florist who demonstrated various techniques and arrangements.

New Roof
Over the summer several volunteers, under the direction of Larry Nienberg, replaced the roof on the Ottawa Missionary Church. Here are some pictures from this project:
Christmas Eve Service
Our annual Christmas Eve service was held December 24, 2006 at 6:00pm.
Vacation Bible School
Vacation Bible School took place June 12-16, running from 9:00 to 11:45 A.M. each day. The theme for 2006 was "Son Treasure Island," following a tropical island theme. There was treasure to be found that week: more precious than gold, more lasting than diamonds, the greatest treasure of all--God's love. Each day the children learned how Jesus' life illusrates one of five key truths about God's love: God's Love is Giving; God's Love is Kind; God's Love is Caring; God's Love is Forgiving; and God's Love is Forever.
Kid's Kamp
Kid's Kamp (formerly Cadet Camp) took place June 26-July 1, 2006 at Ludlow Falls Campgrounds in Ludlow Falls, Ohio for 3rd through 6th graders.
Family Camp
Family Camp Speakers were Dr. Stephen Manley,
founder of Cross-Style Ministries, and Rev. Steve Jones, pastor of First Missionary
Church in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. Family Camp was held July 28-August 6, 2006 at Ludlow
Falls Missionary Church campgrounds. This camp is for the entire family.
Youth Camp
Pastor Jeremiah Bolich returned as Youth Camp
speaker in 2006. Youth Camp ran simultaneously with Family Camp, starting on Sunday,
July 30th and running through Sunday, August 6th.
Women's Fall Retreat
The theme for the 2006 ladies' fall retreat
was "Falling in Love with Jesus," with special speaker Annie Chapman. The
retreat was held at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Blue Ash, Ohio.
Dr. Paul Brennan, an Ottawa native, came to speak at our Sunday morning worship service on May 28. His sermon title was "Downloading Images: Finding Your Focus" and was based on Hebrews 12:1-2. Rev. Brennan is ordained in the United Church of Christ and is presently Pastor Emeritus of the First Chinese Church of Christ in Hawaii, where he lives on the windward side of Oahu with his wife Dorothy.
Prior to becoming a minister, Dr. Brennan had a 30 year career in the field of Anthropology. He has conducted research in India and Papua New Guinea and has written four books. Presently in his retirement, he is writing a book on Hawaiian history.
Mother-Daughter Banquet
The annual Mother-Daughter Banquet for 2006 was on May 8. There was a potluck dinner, and Guest speaker June Schwarz spoke on the theme "O, What A Doll!" June shared her hobby of dollmaking with those in attendance.
